Physics on the Table

What does this mean? "Physics on the table".
Tabletop physics is a term for experimental physics done with small scale apparatus, usually on a small budget. This is opposed to experimental physics done with very large supercolliders, LIGO, massive telescope arrays, or unlimited (nearly) funding.
But this page is not only discussions of tabletop physics, but discussions of whatever the hell I want! :-)
political, comments on other antiblogs, whining and whatever. If I find it interesting and I want to spend some of my very limited time commenting on something, I will.
